Over the last 10 years, I have had to work with different startups, seed-stage, growth-stage, and large organizations across technology and marketing communications.
At Microsoft, I am actively involved in enhancing the calling and meeting experience allowing millions of users achieve more.
Prior to Microsoft, I was at Nitro, where I helped shape the platform and analytics products, as well as designed the AI/ML-powered tools to help our individual and enterprise customers optimize their document workflow journey through the last mile and in the process supporting them in achieving their digital transformation goals. In 2023, I led the design effort to deliver Nitro’s first set of AI tool powered by LLM including the Knowledge Assistant and Data Extraction tools.
This process involved going from research to design, with the aim of helping users optimize their document handling at scale with additional in the pipeline.
Before joining Nitro, I worked at Viamo, where my focus was on enhancing the user experience on the 321 service platform. My efforts saw the growth of key products—321 and Core—towards attaining 5 million monthly active users.
Growing up, I loved tinkering, exploring and expressing genuine curiosity. I had my first real encounter with the intersection of technology and design, using some early softwares like Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia and Adobe Photoshop, where I spent hours each day playing around, learning more about the "wonders" these tools offered. This phase of my life would end up marking the beginning of a journey of genuine curiosity for technology and design.
Fast-forward, I kicked off my career in product and user experience design. It all began during my time in brand and advertising working with reputable companies like Saatchi & Saatchi group, where I started as an Art Director and later progressing to Deputy Group Head. My contribution during this time involved driving brand and marketing campaign efforts for leading financial institutions such as Access Bank, along with notable work with renowned companies like Kentucky Fried Chicken, Unilever, MasterCard, Red Bull, InterSwitch, and many more.
My educational background includes dual master's degrees in Design Management and Interdisciplinary Design (Interaction Design), where I bring a unique blend of user-centric design and strategic thinking, aligning with business objectives to ensure my work contributes not only to exceptional user experiences but also to broader organizational goals.
As a designer, my perspective has been greatly influenced by the diverse cultures I’ve had the privilege of experiencing, having lived in different countries and continents at different phases of my life.
For me, when I think about design, I see it as the intersection of comfort and fulfillment, where the overall user experience and emotional resonance are paramount. It has been my mission—to inform and inspire others with this belief and perspective of mine, bringing them closer to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the role that design plays in shaping both business and our world at large. The impact of my work is most felt within forward-thinking groups that embrace innovation and welcome a multiplicity of perspectives, where the impact of my work and influence spans across research, design, development, and product strategy.

Lately, I've also taken on roles to mentor new entrants in design and spend my time taking amateur photos and doing art.

Led key areas of innovation within Nitro's product ecosystem including delivering Nitro's first AI tool, the Knowledge Assistant (KA), powered by LLM. Led end-to-end transformations in various key areas, including product sign-up, user domain control, and onboarding for enterprise customers. The result: a seamless and intuitive experience for Nitro's diverse user base.
Collaborating with product and engineering leads, I contribution to the strategic direction for flagship products like 321 and Core towards achieving 5M MAU in 2022. I initiated Viamo's design system and ensured a unified user experience across products. I mentored junior designers, fostering growth and achieving product objectives. I led the UX improvements of high impact product experiences such as user management, page optimization, and the Flow Interoperability Project (FLOIP).
Facilitated design and co-design workshops for bespoke orthotics production. Contributed to design efforts in helping enhance orthotics production. Conducted extensive research with residents and synthesized findings to help to inform the development of a new model of care that is patient-centric.
During my time at the design agency, I led diverse client projects, particularly in finance and real estate sectors, delivering impactful visual assets and brand materials. I championed human-centered design methodologies and contributed to social design initiatives, like the +Acumen/IDEO HCD project, focusing on healthier food options. This experience enabled me to deliver cutting-edge designs, foster client relationships, and lead community-driven projects.
Played a key role in Access Bank PLC's marketing strategy, contributing to its growth and ascent in Nigeria. Designed compelling visuals pivotal in winning the 2015 open pitch, securing SO&U's retention of the Access Bank account. Collaborated seamlessly across diverse teams to deliver unique advertising campaigns. Recognized for creative excellence on top brands like Access Bank and Guinness Nigeria plc (Harp). Demonstrated leadership as deputy group head.
