A little about me

I'm an experienced designer currently leading UX efforts on the platform services and analytics products at Nitro Inc, a global document productivity SaaS company accelerating digital transformation.

Throughout my design career, I have worked with reputable teams of engineers, product, business, and design leaders to design omni-channel experiences that translate to big business impact.

As a designer, I am conscious of the impact of my work and the role that I play in contributing to bridging the gap between technology and how users interact with them.

Room booking and scheduling system

A personalized time-management and scheduling system designed to maximize productive time for students when managing room bookings

We saw a significant reduction in the number of booking conflicts reported by users and an increase in their efficiency as they were now able to focus on what mattered most, like planning their events and all other event-related logistics rather than finding a way to navigate the complex and outdated system at the time. Post-release qual interview with users (students and staff) showed a huge satisfaction in their experience when booking rooms.

A solution providing useful and timely information to patients about their treatment encounter during outpatient visits

A system that allows outpatients access to the right information in a timely manner to help improve the current patient wait-time and experience at JPOCSC outpatient healthcare facility.

Having some knowledge of code as a UX designer

There has been a lot of debate with no closure whether UX designers should learn to code or not. Those in support believe that it will make the UX designer more prepared for the work environment when they have to work with developers and programmers, so it is more of an asset.

A11y: Things you need to know about designing for accessibility

Accessibility is about making products more inclusive by understanding the needs of users — primary target, those with disabilities (for example HoH and visually impaired to name a few), and minorities.
